Tabtion

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2025

Note: Tabtion is pre-launch. This policy will be updated as the product evolves, and before public release. We'll notify users of any material changes.

1. What We Collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the Service:

  • Account information — your email address when you sign up.
  • Content you create — projects, tabs, files, and notes you store in Tabtion.
  • Usage data — basic logs to keep the Service running (e.g. error logs).

We do not collect payment data yet. When paid plans launch, payment processing will be handled by a third-party provider and this policy will be updated.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

  • Provide and operate the Service.
  • Authenticate your account.
  • Fix bugs and improve reliability.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your content for advertising.

3. Your Content

You own the content you create. We store it on your behalf. We access it only when required to operate the Service (e.g. displaying it to you) or to investigate abuse.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Supabase, a third-party cloud infrastructure provider. Data may be stored in servers outside your country of residence.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and content at any time by contacting us at ask@tabtion.com. We will delete your data within a reasonable time. Some data may be retained in backups for a short period before being purged.

6. Risk of Data Loss

Important: Tabtion is pre-launch software. We cannot guarantee that your data will not be lost due to bugs, infrastructure issues, or other unforeseen problems. Please maintain your own backups of important files.

7. Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (to keep you logged in). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Third Parties

We use Supabase for database and authentication. We do not share your personal data with other third parties, except as required by law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product grows. We'll post the updated version here with a new date. For material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
